On the evening of Tuesday March 26th, 2024, I was blessed to have been asked to DJ at the
Globe and Mail Centre’s “Evening at the Globe” event-planner soiree.
A celebration of food, design, drinks, views and of course, great music, it was one of the first times that the Toronto Wedding and Event Community was able to come together and celebrate freely since the pandemic. It took a total of 27 artistic partners with over 7 caterers to create this epic event, with over 400 guests in attendance. This was definitely one of the biggest and most extravagant industry parties of the year!
Through-out the night I took guests on a musical journey starting with some soulful house, and as the party continued, transitioned into top 40 dance remixes, latin, funk and disco, which kept the audience grooving and constantly asking “Why isn’t there a dance-floor??? The music is so good! I want to dance!!!”.
