“We booked Michael for our wedding in April 2024 downtown Toronto. He was recommended by every single venue that we toured in the city, and absolutely lived up to the hype! He was incredibly professional, answered emails promptly, was very organized, was punctual, and was familiar with our venue. He immediately understood the set up required to ensure audio was perfect throughout the night. (seems simple, but many venues require you to determine # of speakers, placement, # microphones, etc, which is not something I was familiar with planning!) He understood details to wedding logistics that allowed the evening to flow SEAMLESSLY. These are all INCREDIBLE things that went above and beyond what we expected from our DJ.
On to the MUSIC. During our meetings he was very familiar with a TON of music genres and able to accommodate all our requests. We did a mix of old and new R&B, 60s classics, Afro-beats, and 90s hits…we even added in some country. He did all of this seamlessly. I had a huge fear that no one would be dancing and that 3 hours of dancing was too much, but that was NOT an issue…he had everyone on the dance floor without it feeling like cheesy wedding music. When the night ended no one wanted to leave the dance floor. Many of our guests could not stop raving about how perfect our DJ was.
